How 'real' are orbs to you?

85% are dust, or water particles, or bugs but that 15% that you can't explaiin is exciting. Do I believe they are spirits no but there seems to be a lot of them around a place that is paranormal active. For now it will be left up to everyone to debate.

i think it can have a lot to do with frequency of occurance as well as the rules defining true orb activity. some places must have more activity than others right? if a place had a high concentration of activity i think it would be more convincing that there was some kind of paranormal happenings there. also, do people catch these things in places that arent generaly considered to be haunted?

So far the orbs I have photographed have been in area of questionable activity. Sometimes (including a couple of days ago) I pick up orbs where I have also picked up electoplasmic mist. I have also picked up different color orbs. Anyone else?

Orbs are caught all the time, especially in old "haunted" places. The older the site the more you will catch due to there being more particulate matter in the air in older buildings. The colored orbs, if they look like a light, rather than an out of focus clear orb, may be something different. Try to eliminate any outside sources and inside lights that could reflect your flash.

Using night shot and moving the camera will cause a false light ribbon if a light source is present in the picture. Brooke caught one in the Old Montana Prison yard last year and there was no other light source and she didn't have it on night shot. I have seen light ribbons on other sites i don't know if they are paranormal or not, they are also caught on film around fault lines. And a fault line runs under the old prison.

Orbs....... Interesting observation......son & I went to cemetary last noc (nice New Years Eve activity). We didn't stay long .... but... what I find as interesting is that the first few pics I took I didn't see anything of interest. Just as we had made the decision to leave, those pics start to show increasing orb activity, some brighter than others.

Went to the cemetery tonight during "dead time". Felt creepier than last night for sure. Caught a lot of orbs. It is dirt roads so I'm sure some could be attributed to that. What was weird was that I felt like something was following us as we walked out. I turned and took a pic and there were tons of orbs. Went a little further, turned around and took pic.....less orbs. Turned back forward and took pic and had electroplasmic mist filling the frame of the pic. I'm like holy sh**.....took another pic and it had moved off to my left. We were to the gate by then and left..phew!!!! Didn't get any evps. We got a hand held mike for the dig. recorder and not that happy with it. Craig said that once at the start and once half way through our mini investigation he had asked questions and there is a tap tap tapping noise on the mike. Doesn't know if it is him or them but not counting it as anything.

Having problems with photo program to email some pics for you guys to look at. Will do so asap. Was going to say something about an orb I saw in window of haunted house I lived in. It is part way behind window sill, looked like it was looking out of window. When I enlarged to show Chet, it looks like a face rather than orb. When Craig and I get things working, will send you a bunch of pics for you and your team to review and comment on. I think they are cool. electoplasmic mist may have faces in it also. Not sure if my imagination or real. I'll let you make the call.

If it is an Orb it could be a reflection if the window was closed, but until i see the picture wont know. If it is a face that could be really cool

Orbs looks like balls of light/liquid .. it depends how dense they are and if they are composed of positive energy or negative energy. Also.. they look different depending on your ability to see the astral world.
