New Camera
I am awaiting the arrival of my new camcorder. I looked for the Sony Dig Hi8 handy cam and couldn't find it even on the sony site. The only camcorder I could find with night vision was the Sony dvr hc-62 (I think that's the right name) it says it can record in 0 lux. I had to use most of my tax refund for bills so this was what was in my price range. It has already been shipped so should have it with in 2-5 days. I hope it works as good as your camcorders. I still will save moola to get another EMF.

I'm looking at the new Sony DSLR-A900. It is a 24.6 Megapixel camera. Here is the link.

RE: New Camera
Wow......................................I took the "3-D tour" and it looks like a really nice camera with some good qualities. I used to have a camera with the view box on the back of the camera like this one and I liked that quality. I also like how fast you can take pics. That could be really helpful on a ghost hunt. Too pricey for me but I like it. Are there places that carry the cam. so you can see it up close and personal?

RE: New Camera
That's not too far away and probably well worth waiting for. My Sony Dig cam. I took a look at. My Sony Video Cam I bought off the net by looking at the pic for it. I am more than happy with it. But...... for that amount of money I would like to see a cam in person. :)

RE: New Camera
LOL No kidding.....but finally gas prices are going down (don't know about camera prices) Our gas at Town Pump is now $2.12. I am amazed........ just waiting to see for how long. Probably go back up for Thanksgiving and Christmas travel.
I was watching GH tonight and got a chuckle. Grant was showing the KII Meter to Josh Gates and lo and behold he has a penny jammed in the on button to keep in constantly on. That's cheaper than installing a toggle switch. LOL

RE: New Camera
That's awesome! I have the KII minus the toggle. I was about to take it apart to see if I could solder the switch in. Penny works great!

RE: New Camera
Hi All.

I currently have a samsung s730 7.2megapixel iso 1000. I loved it until march when I had my son, now I hate it. When I take a pic with the flash it makes my son look like a ghost or glowing alien, when I turn the flash off it turns on automatic shake reduction (which I've gone through EVERY setting and cannot turn off) and blurs the pic. I occasionally get a great pic but it's rare. I'm looking for a camera that what I see on the screen is the pic I will get, I'd like to spend around $300, any suggestions would be awesome!
