I just added a lens kit to my camera. I bought a 3x multiplier and 0.42 wide angle/ macro kit with a filter set that includes UV, Circular Polarizer, and Neutral Density filter. I hope that these will allow for some cleaner pics.

Cool. I just ordered an IR light to go on my sony video camera. It has night shot but that doesn't show enough for me so I hope this will. I am excited.... it should arrive Thurs 9th. Which is good because I plan on trying out that weekend. Will have to let you know how well it works.

RE: Accessories
Make sure you buy an off-axis bracket so that you don't light up dust with the new IR light. It makes it really handy to keep the IR light off axis so that you can really tell what is going on in the room.

RE: Accessories
Thanks................... I'll check on that. It makes sense. Like I've said before... my next thing I want is a KII with a toggle switch so you don't have to hold the button on and can set it a side like on TAPS. I'm sure there are better meters....... but I like the flashy lights and want to have the ghost flash the lights for a conversation. :)

RE: Accessories
Don't spend any extra money to get a toggle. It is really easy to do on your own.

RE: Accessories
LOL If you know what you're doing. I am technically challenged. I put black electrical tape on my vcr to keep it from blinking. I forget from one time to the next how to set the stupid thing. The toggle one is 20 bucks more. Other option for me would be to find something to push down the button and then tape the emf on. I think that should work.

RE: Accessories
A toggle switch at Radio Shack is like $3.50 for the basic model. I can install it in a few minutes.

RE: Accessories
That is cheaper than the 20 bucks extra they charge for a toggle switch set up on the site I was looking at.

I'm sooooo pleased with my IR light for my sony and it came with a bracket which is great. I have footage I took at the prison last time I was there and compared it with footage with the IR light and it was literally like day and night. It can run on 2 AA batteries or M-series Battery. I know that it lasted atleast longer than 4 hours on the 2 AA. How much longer i don't know because I left the camera on in a cabin I was staying in and dropped off to sleep and didn't wake up to change the tape. The IR was still on the next morning.
