I don't think they fake everything, but there are times they are quick to debunk something that is clearly faked. Like the bed sheets on the bed at the queen Mary a few years back. The only way into the room was a very small door behind the camera and the only person small enough was the guy who debunked it. It could have been a legitimate debunking but it just stinks of a fraud. Live shows add all kinds of problems do to the show and using wireless mics, and bad reception, I don't really think they faked the Halloween show but I have had issues with other things in their past shows.
If they need to "enhance something" for the show then please state it in the credits I would not have a problem if they did that.
