Whether TAPS started out like this in their show or not, I figured it'd only be a matter of time before they had to resort to trickery. Lets face it, even if some place is haunted, something is not going to happen in front of the cameras every time. So I knew they'd have to do something to keep it entertaining to the crowd. Too bad for them they did such a horrible and obvious job of it.

I agree.....It has made me wonder if I want to be the die hard viewer that I've been. When I saw a similar you tube about "Most Haunted" trickery..... I quit watching them. When something would happen I would question if it was real or staged. I'm afraid that if and when I watch Ghost Hunters again I'll view it the same way. I just wanted them to stay true to the investigating. I figured they just picked places they had evidence at. Very disheartened.

I don't see the issue. Realize that in order to produce a show you will have staged scenes. While most evidence is real, they have to re-enact them for the show. Cameras can't be in all locations at the same time. The EVP was actually being fast-forwarded...you can hear the sound skipping. Not as bad as you think....We are all professionals and should know that when something happens it is rare....on avg. 5 minutes of possible evidence per 6-8 hrs of investigations.

But they dont say they are re-enacting anything, and it causes serious doubt to the show that they are on the up and up.
It is not A Haunting where you know it is all staged to show what did happen
