New Member Intro

Greetings Group. I stumbled upon this site when doing a search for Ellen Baumler books. I love her writing and am currently reading "Dark Spaces" about the prison. My husband and I did the prison tour during the anniversary of the "riot" and of course, my curiosity to learn more got the better of me. I have always been interested in the location, my grandmother told me of times when she was a little girl growing up in Deer Lodge taking lunch to her father and watching the bucket lift it up to the tower to him. LOL Ghosts and the spirit world have always been an interest of mine. I once had a friend tell me, "if you say you don't believe, the spirits will make a believer of you". Any way, I have always been a believer and had some strange experiences when my sister unexpectantly died in a terrible accident - which confirmed my beliefs. I work in Butte and have heard many stories of the ghosts that inhibit the buildings uptown. I used to scare myself when working late at the Thornton building or the General office, which is really 4 different buildings combined into one. Well, any way, glad to be joining all of you, and hope you will allow me some time to learn all the terms and tools. Msputter |
