All orbs are not the same

I see a lot of photos of so called orbs these days. It's funny how I almost never hear stories of people actually seeing them with their own eyes. It's always energy that supposedly shows up on film but isn’t seen by those present.
One of the most prominent paranormal events that happened when I was a child was an “orb” that came to my room at night and would talk with me. Well… it didn’t really speak; I can only say what my interpretation was of what it wanted. I would guess it occurred many nights until I was maybe 7 or 8. It seemed to be solid, about the size of quarter with a black dot in the middle. It hovered near my closet door and would come toward to me and back away as I whispered to it. My impression was that it was unhappy, demanding really, and wanted to know what I and the rest of my family did when we left the house all day. If I refused to speak, or if it didn’t like the answer I gave, it would fly toward my face and I would squeeze my eyes shut and say “ok ok” and then tell it what it wanted. I can't say if I was correct in what I thought it wanted to know, it could very well have just been a childs best guess at the time.

Because of that experience I wonder if what I saw was a true orb and the others in photographs are just mistaken identity. Mostly dust. Or was what I saw something more special and rare? Has anyone else had, or heard, of a similar experience?

And yes, there were many other occurrences of the paranormal. Some say they saw an old woman in a white dress with blue flowers in the house. But I never did.

I can see ORBs with my ordinary vision, specially at the Old Prison, but i can see them other places. You have to be paying attention or you will not see them. For some reason I can see things, and I am aware of more things around me since we have been Ghost hunting.
I have ecorded many ORBs with my Hi 8mm video camera, and have done extensive testing with dust,water drops,bugs, and sand, to see if what I was catching on video was something Earthly. Infact it was the opposite, What I was catching on video was not the same as these obects i had tested they didnt move the same way.
I have never had ORBs try to talk to me, so your story is very interesting.
I have always thought that ORBs are actually glimpes into alternate realites
And as well as ghosts being people from alternate realities, and we also would appear to them as ghosts occupying the same space but different realities.

I've never heard of one trying to make contact either. It's why I wonder if it wasn't really an orb, despite the orb shape. I'm interested in the experiments you did to determine what the difference between dust, water particles and orbs. It's good you went to the trouble. I've been wanting to do my own experiments along the same lines but I keep putting it off. Can you tell about the set up you used?

Good theory about alternate realities. Really it's less far fetched than the idea of dead people sticking around. Do you see haunting then being mainly location based? Meaning perhaps there are areas where the veil is weak between the realities? It's interesting to me because of the implications it has for other phenomenon. It would go a long way to explaining not only ghosts but cryptids, UFO’s, and odd disappearances. Not a theory to be thrown out!

I think location has alot to do with hauntings, and yes I do think the thin line that separates realities is and can be disturbed. Allowing us to see the other side and the other side to see us. At the old prison it sits near fault, and is constructed on quartz, and lime stone allowing for energy to be stored and at times it may allow the different realities to cross barriers.

As far as test for Orbs set up a video camera and drop dust in front of it, the water mist from a spray bottle, and anything else that yo might think would create a false ORB. All these things excet a bug move in a predictable pattern
As they float across the front of the lens of the video camera.
And if there is a slight breeze you will be able to see the effect of the breeze on these obects as well.
What I would consider true ORBs don't float across the lens in a lazy pattern, in fact they seem to generate their own light source, and move wildly, and appear and disappear at random. when they move they seem to Stretch like a rubber band as they move or tuen a 90' turn without warning.
Bugs that I have video taped you can see they are bugs and are not they same. I have also capture on film false ORbs and legit ORBs in the same frame and it is there you can see the difference. The fake ORB looks like a cell under a microscope, and a real ORB is bright as if it was a light bulb and seems to be moving in the frame.
