Motion sensitive cameras?
Hey, has anyone ever thought of getting a motion sensitive camera?
They are usually used for tracking animals and what not, but I was wondering if you think it would be useful for paranormal investigations. I wonder what it takes to set these off. If it actually requires something as large as a dog or deer to set it off, it may not work for our investigations. Here's a link to one that shows up on a simple EBay search. http://cgi.ebay.com/Deer-Hunter-Game-Mot...dZViewItem I know Kris and Erik have the motion sensor alarms, but we've only used them once when I was on an investigation with poor results. So hopefully if we do decide to eventually get one of these, then they work a little better than those alarms. The dude with the beard. |

RE: Motion sensitive cameras?
It depends on the amount of IR Radiation the object that you are trying to capture gives off. A rating of 9 micrometers will catch people. most game cameras range from 8 to 12 micrometers. I think that it would be more of a pain with lower setting unless you are trying to catch a fraudulent claim.
Make no mistake there are things that go bump in the night. I work for the ones that bump back. |
