Was watching Ghost Hunters the other night..
.. and they were doing investigations of people houses that were supposedly haunted. In one of them, the residents said that there was activity in every room except for one. Later in the show Jason and Grant said they often find, that if a spirit is causing a disturbance in every or many room except one, they are usually hiding out in that room.
First, has anyone else ever heard of this? It would obviously only happen with intelligent hauntings. Also, I have to wonder why would a spirit need to hide. For example, we can't see it, unless it manifests itself, so I'm unsure as to why it would have to have a place to hide out. Also, they do impress me with how much they solve, just by being plumbers. I can't count the number of times, I've seen them tighten some screws here or there, and completely put a stop to some of the things that are frightening people. The dude with the beard. |

RE: Was watching Ghost Hunters the other night..
The spirits might hide out because the energy jason and grant give off might be more than the spirit can handle. I have heard if it is one room the energy of the room keeps the spirit out of that room, as if it has been blessed or is watched over.

Most times in a true haunting, the spirit does not realize that they are deceased. They hide because they are just as afraid of you as you are of them.

[/quot I think they like to play hide and seek.... that faucet turning itself on was a prime canidate for a couple plumbers to solve but nothing so thats pretty solid evidence... |

Let's not forget about Andy...he's is a complete tool! Like pythons69 said he is one of those guys who you'd just like to punch in the face.
As for that "lead investigator" I can't stand his facial expressions while talking...It looks like he is trying to show emotion and excitment through his face almost like a news anchor does... ![]() -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

I agree about Andy. He's such a little snoot I'd like to smack him. I like Brian even if he is excited. I think he has a passion for investigating. I just wish he wouldn't run off. He climbed down in that tight hole so he had to think he might not be alone. It could have been an animal coming at him, but, he needed to determine what it was. Also, what is the worst that could have happened had it been a spirit, shadow or demon...... knocked down, touched, what?

Well I must say that Brian is my favorite...I have a lot in common with him, I myself scare pretty easy too! haha Honestly, I'd be more affraid of the emotional and pyschological damage that a ghost/demon would do to you.
