In your personal thoughts what do you think is good evidence....Too me good evidence is something that cannot be explained and you got proof in your hands,either through still pics,video,evp,ext......

Absolutely!!!!!! If you have any doubts, it is not evidence of activity. I have upset people by my stances on this issue, but I stand beside my interpretation of the data. If I believe it can be explained then it is not evidence.

If you can prove to me that the picture is smoke or swamp gas or whatever by duplicating it EXACTLY as it appears on film then I will believe that it is in fact caused by Earthly forces, if you can't then it will be Paranormal evidence until at some date it can be explained as I have stated above

Very good conversation.....Me Im not a orb chaser....unless it has very diffrent abstracts,colors ext I most of the time just ignore it, I think people get the impression that orbs are ghost and me personally orbs can be quote "Debunk" Now I have sceen orbs that are really like hmm....Now that more then likley could have been paranormal......But Im very opened minded when it comes to this field...I have learned you have too be....

I have seen bugs lit up in pictures, and i have seen dust, water you can tell they are not real Orbs, i do not always believe that all orbs can be explained away, but i also don't believe orbs are ghosts. i do beleive they are some sort of energy but not ghosts but odd maybe a natural energy

they had rods on monsterquest tonight in the end they got good results supporting that rods are in most cases insects

I agree. Rods can be explained by a fast moving insect that excedes the frame rate of the camera.

ok if there are insects what kind are they? what kind of insects flies like that in the insect world i would like to see it. That would explain a lot but only if the said insect looks exactly like a flying rod. but just to say it is an insect then what kind? I have been trying to find an insect that looks and flys like a rod moves i have yet to fid one, there must be one out there. If anyone finds one let me know so i can see for myself.

It is like a physics experiment. If a flying insect flys by a video camera that is recording in low light, the video is slowed by the ccd trying to capture the most available light. When the insect flys by, it looks like it is stretched out and has several wings. If you video a tire rolling with a piece of tape you wil see a similar effect from a still postition. The tire rolls but from a still position it looks like the tape is bouncing in an arc. I can't remember what this effect is called but it was demonstrated in Physics class.

  bug1A.jpg (Size: 25.05 KB / Downloads: 2) I have seen video of rods in the day light  slowed down and at regular speed and i have not seen any insects that look like them, there must be some kind of insect though because no one has ever caught a rod to be studied.
but just to say it is a bug is not correct with out proving what kind of bug it is, I want cold hard facts to debunk not just well it is smoke, sewer gas, dust, or what ever they need to prove it so it is exactly the same as what the picture of film shows.
I hate it when TAPS or other groups just say it is a bug, i know what a bug looks like at night in a photo and it is not a rod.
This picture is a bug not a rod they look way different so what kind of bug is a rod that people say they see?
