I went to Radio Shack today, and picked up THIS ONE

It's a little fancier than I wanted, but the one I wanted was only $10 cheaper, and had half the recording time. So I chose just to spend the extra 10 on it.

Total for it was $80.00 that included a 1 year warranty and 4 packs of batteries. For the device itself with no warranty, it was 59.99. The other one I was considering was 49.99.

They offered 4 packs of AAA batteries for $10 which seemed like a good deal, so I took it.

I just picked this up. It is a little different than everyone else, it has a stereo mic with higher resolution and sensitivity. Retail is almost $100, but was on sale for $90.
This thing is ultra sweet. I love the ability to upload to the computer to analyze with Cakewalk. The mic is ultra sick too. Super clarity and great pick-up.

Kyle have you used the recorder? Did you dowload it to your computer? let me know I need a new one that I can hook to my computer.
