Major forum update tonight

I guess I don't understand what you're talking about. Forum is the entire application..board is a collection of threads, threads are a collection of posts. Are you talking about a thread? Some additional information would help track down the problem. Maybe provide links, etc.

When I look at the forum page it shows a new post and shows who posted, but when I go to the thread there are no new posts. I even refresh it several times to see the new post and it won't come up. It seems like I have to wait a while before I can view the new post.

That's weird. Doesn't seem to happen to me. I went to the main forum page and see a new post for this thread, with you as the author, and I'm seeing your post.

Could it be a thread with multiple pages.. and you're viewing a earlier page vs. the last page? Are you seeing this problem with this particular thread as an example?

The odd thing, is that the only part that is 'updated' is the forum view, the part you're saying you're seeing updated post with author information. The other threads/posts are called in real time from the DB.. no caching there.

I'll keep an eye on it.

Yeah, I think my computer may be creating a cache and not letting me see the correct page info. I have it set to minimum but have been getting crazy viral threats that I have been isolating lately that may be creating a separate cache.
