David S. Dick - Tech Manager Hi, My name is David S. Dick and I am the Tech. Manager for TSI. I am originally from just outside of St. Louis, Missouri. I had my first paranormal experience when I was about 7 years old. I was leaving a friends house and as I walked out of the house I saw a girl who looked like she was in her early teens standing in the street. I noticed that you could see through her and that she was wearing what looked like an early Victorian era dress. She turned and looked at me and then disappeared. I was so scared that I ran home slammed the front door and locked it, and continued to close all the doors and windows to our house. My parents looked at me like I was crazy, but when they found out what happened they understood. I continued to experience different paranormal activities until I was about 12. The ability to see, hear, and feel things came back to me shortly after a head injury at age 15. I had a rock thrown at the back of my head. I was not able to distinguish paranormal things clearly but I could sense them. I had a second injury at about 16 or 17 years of age and that is when the ability really popped. I was now able to sense paranormal activities like when I was younger.
Fast forward to fall 2004, I came out to Montana originally to live but decided to go to school. I started here at the University of Montana as a physics major, and was looking at a minor in archaeology. I fell in love with archaeology and so I switched majors. In 2005, I was taking a class at the Main Hall and I never felt comfortable in the building. The first week I found out that I was in the wrong class and I am glad because it felt like there were people all around me in that room and I was the only one in the back of the room. I went to the correct class the next week and it was better. One day I went down to the restroom, which is located in the basement. I was washing my hands and saw a man enter the restroom. He went into the stall and closed the door. I dried my hands and when I turned around to the stall, no one was there. The guy would have had to walk by me to get out of the restroom and no one did.
At the end of Oct. that year I saw an article in the Kaimin about TSI and after reading the article, I decided to contact the group. I exchanged emails back and forth letting them know of my background and experiences. They invited me to meet them at Arby's and after the meeting, they asked me to join them at the prison for an investigation. I had some weird experiences those nights at the prison and decided to stay with the group. After a few months with the group, I was asked if I wanted to be the Tech. Manager of TSI and I gladly accepted. I have seen and done things with the group that I would have not done by myself. I am glad to be a part of TSI and look forward to expanding our knowledge of the paranormal. |
