Kris Bratlien - Co Founder Hello,
My name is Kris Bratlien and I'm 21 years old and have been in involved with the paranormal since 1999. My father and I created TSI TO SEEK OUT THE UNEXPLAINED MYSTERIES OF LIFE, TO STUDY SCIENTIFICALLY, AND UNDERSTAND WHAT WE DON'T KNOW. Someday I hope to be responsible for bringing forth the most credible evidence of paranormal existence.
My scariest moment so far was probably at the Old Montana Territorial Prison with a group now with Southwest Washington Paranormal Research (SWPR) , but at the time was West Coast Ghost Hunters (WCGH). We were there for our season opening "Ghost Tours" and a two night investigation. After we got our equipment set up a member from WCGH and I set out for Maximum Security to meet up with two other members of my team. We met them in front of the 1912 Cell House and headed down the walking path across the prison courtyard to get to max. As we approached the entry way to the Maximum Security courtyard I had in mind that we had captured the door on the visitors center close by itself on video the first time we investigated the prison. I was leading the pack with the two ladies and another guy from my team behind me. As soon as I stepped into the doorway to the Max courtyard I heard that same door slam shut. I instantly took off the other direction running over everybody behind me. Once we regained our composer we stepped into the Max courtyard and noticed that that door never closed and was in fact wide open. Connie our Case Coordinator asked me if I heard the door close, I replied with "why do you think I took off so fast?". My one true chance to experience something and I ran. My flight is definitely over powering my fight. I have since been better with just taking the experiences that come my way.
I'm excited for the future with TSI and everything it has to offer. I've invested everything in this group and now it's starting to give back to me. I never would have guessed that the group would be where it's at today when we started it. |
